Story of Ping

K and I "rowed" the story of Ping by Marjorie Flack a couple of weeks ago. Here's the lapbook we completed. He learned about China, the Yangtze river, buoyancy, and discretion. We also did a little math, but he got tired of coloring all of Ping's cousins, he had 42 of them. He learned that China is a country in Asia and about it's flag. He even drew his own picture of Ping. We took our time and did it over a 2 week period.
