Flippin Crazy

Gymnastics is definitely paying off!

One Month

T is already one month old and he's so alert. His brother and sister continue to shower him with lots of love, constantly giving him kisses. Here's a picture of him sleeping outside while the rest of us play.

K is 5!

K turned 5 on the 20th and it was a wonderful day full of fun and surprises. After he went to sleep, we filled his bed with balloons. By the time I went in his room the next morning, the balloons were on the floor and since the fans were on, I didn't take his birthday cupcakes to his room, but waited to give them to him when he was eating breakfast. When he woke up he asked me where his presents that he could unwrap were and when his friends were coming over. I told him no one was coming over and that I didn't have any presents for him to unwrap. He did surprisingly well. After breakfast and the "surprise" birthday cupcakes, I told K he could go outside and play but for some reason he didn't want to, so his sister and I headed outside without him only to be followed by K shortly after. They were both surprised to see what was in the yard and had a blast!

Later that evening, we went to gymnastics. After gymnastics, we quickly ate and then met some friends at the Circus. K had NO idea we were going until we walked inside. K had a good time, but L had a BLAST and T had no idea what was going on. It was a good time and aside from the barely there clothes worn by the female performers, this circus was the best one yet.

Good Friday

On Good Friday this year, we went to some friends house for their annual get together to visit with friends, eat good food, and hunt eggs. As always, the kids and myself had a good time. Here are a few pictures. The first one is of L trying to sneak someone's candy bar.

L got close to Mr. Gary. She quickly found the person that would feed her sweets.

HAPPY EASTER!!!!

L is 2!

In tradition, on L's actual birth date, she woke up in a balloon filled room with her brother, her dad, and I singing happy birthday as we carried in a small cake. The look on her face was priceless as she noticed the balloons on the floor. K carried in her present and helped her open it. They played with it for a few minutes and then we had to get ready to leave after we had breakfast and cake.

It just so happened that this year our church had their annual Lake Area Easter Festival on L's birthday. There were a lot of people there including some very good friends of ours that we ended up spending the time with. The kids had a blast on the jumpers and "hunting" eggs. L got as many eggs as her attention span would allow (3), which is more than she did at the other egg hunts we had this year. I think if she realized there was candy in them before she started "hunting" them, she would have done a lot better, but I'm perfectly fine with the little amount of candy they did get.

An Incredible Birthday

It's official! L is 2 and K will be 5 next week! Oh, what a month it has been! Here are a few pictures from their joint Incredible birthday party. Everyone seemed to have a good time and those that weren't dressed in superhero costumes doned colors of red, black, or yellow.

The "after" party with my family.

Baby T

At T's 1st appointment with our lactation specialist, he weighed 7 lb 4 oz, only 2 ounces less than when he was born, but he gained it back quickly when he ate.
At his 2 week "well" check up appointment with the Dr., he had gained 8 ounces and was up to 7 lb 12 oz an was 21 inches long and his head had grown to 14.75 inches. He's definitely a good eater. It's fun to look back at the other kid's baby books to see where they were at the same stages. Needless to say, although T is longer than the other 2 were, he still has some catching up to do if he's going to be bigger than his sister. :-)

L's New Bedding

I know it's been a while since I've been around, but needless to say, there has been A LOT going on these past two weeks. Aside from having a new blessing in the house, L turned 2 and she had a joint b-day party with her brother who turns 5 next week, L got a new bed, the crib went into K's room (like he requested), we've had Dr. appointments, celebrated Easter and had several egg hunts, and had a playdate at the Children's Musuem. Here is a picture of L's new bedding... the other events will be posted on seperate posts.

I really hesitated to put her in a big bed, but really didn't have a choice since T needs the crib. She is doing great in her new bed and even sleeps later. She even still waits for me to come get her before she gets out of bed. It's so cute! I wish I would have done it sooner.
