Patience

I tell K quite often that he needs to have a little patience. Now that there are 5 other people needing my attention, he's having to learn a lot quicker, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Although I new we were trying to teach him, I didn't really know if he understood... until tonight.

M just came in the living room with a big smile on his face to tell me how funny our son is. M said he was trying to rush K to pick out a book to read to go to bed by telling him to hurry. K looked at him and politely said, "use your patience."

Even though they may not seem to be listening, they are paying attention.
