Alaskan Cruise - Day 7

Ketchikan
This was such a wonderful day! We saw almost every "wild" animal this day. As soon as we got off the ship, we were greeted with a Bald Eagle flying above a mountain goat. The eagle didn't mind having it's picture taken, but the goat wasn't as cooperative. This was also the day we went ziplining with some friends from the cruise. On the way back to the town, we stopped to watch a brown bear eating a daffodil on the side of the road. Although it was a baby bear, I still wouldn't have tried to pet it. I was amazed at just how close it was to the road and it didn't seem bothered to have admirers watching it eat. The only stone building in the town, City Hall.
Yukon Pass
Every red building used to be a brothel. At one time there were 72 brothels in Ketchikan.

This is the entire town... Can you imagine? 72 brothels??? Of course, the town was a little busier during the Gold Rush, but still!
