Well, today is the day! School officially starts today. I just heard the public school bus go by, stop at the neighbors, and then off it went again to pick up the next kid that probably had to be awake at the crack of dawn. I couldn't help but smile knowing the kids in the house didn't have to get on it.
The girls set their alarm last night to be up at 7:30. Breakfast is ready and will be served at 8 a.m. or when they wake up. School starts at 9 a.m.
One of the questions asked wasn't what will we do for p.e. or how long will each "class" be, but "Do we have to gt dressed?" To which I replied, "no" with a smile.
Since none of their books have come in yet, our studies will be very basic until they get here.
We will have our daily Bible study, history lesson (from a borrowed book), Spanish lesson, and a Home Economics lesson. Oh, and since M is making their bed they picked out, they will be helping M make the bed.
Well, K is awake and the girl's alarm didn't go off. K loves waking them up. He's a good secondary alarm clock for them.

I hope your first day went well! My little man and I were exercising this morning when the bus went by and I was also so glad my kiddoes were here...and not there!
You are so great! Keep up the good work. Do you have any links for stuff that I can teach Amaya now? She is constantly getting bored with things made for her age.
I bet he is LOVING having someone else to play with, even if they are older than him!
