Baby L Adventures

I don't know how she does it, but she's figuring out so many different things every day. As I was checking my e-mail in the living room the other day, I heard silverware clinking in the kitchen. I knew K wasn't in the kitchen because he was beside me, so a little panic struck. I knew she wasn't into the knives, because I keep them too high for K to reach, much less Baby L. As soon as I walked into the kitchen, this is what I saw... she had opened the dishwasher by herself and was trying to unload the dishwasher. I'm curious to see if she is going to be a helper like her brother or be complete opposite and be an undoer. I, of course, will encourage the helping.... ;-)

Vacation

The day is almost upon us. The day in which we fly to our vacation destination - Hawaii. The kids are at their grandparent's house and M and I are getting a few hours at home by ourselves to pack and make sure we have everything we want to take ready. We have a lot planned and not sure if we're going to be able to do everything we want, but we're going to try very hard to make it happen.
My wonderful mom offered to let us take her mini-laptop with us to download pics everyday, but we're not going to be in a hotel very much. It truly will be just for sleeping. We might as well stay in a Motel 8 or something very inexpensive, but what's a nice vacation without a nice hotel?

Our agenda and wishes continue to grow everyday, so I'm very excited to see what we are actually able to fit in. I know there will not be much laying around on the beach.

Here are a few things we hope to do:
- Shark Diving
- Cliff Jumping
- Surfing
- Body boarding
- Trail Hiking
- Volcano/Lava Hiking
- Shopping (his idea, not mine)
- Whale watching
- Ocean kayaking
- Helicopter Tour

In writing that out, it seems like a lot to accomplish in only 7 days. Hopefully, when we get there we will be able to change our return flight and stay an extra 2 days.

I'm really looking foward to when the kids are older so we can take them somewhere they'll actually enjoy and remember.
