Gymnastics

K started gymnastics on Tuesday. There were about 6 kids in his class and he was the only new one. It took him about 45 minutes to warm up and do something besides just sit and watch before he actually participated. It was when his teacher pulled out the obstacle course and they got to jump, climb, and crawl that he really became interested, lit up, and started participating. After the obstacle course, they went to the trampoline and I lost my boy to the world of gymnastics. He seemed to fall in love and had a blast. When class was over, he told me, "When I come back to gymnastics class... " I'm looking forward to watching him grow in discipline and patience as he shares his love of doing flips with his friends and gymnastics teacher.
